For sampling invertebrates in static or slow-flowing waters, e.g. slow-flowing

rivers with depositing substrata. These samplers are based on the S.Auf.U.

colonisation samplers described by Girton and Hawkes, but are constructed

from white polypropylene pall rings and 1mm white polyester netting.

Dimensions: Height 4". Diameter 6".

The samplers may be either staked or

weighted in position at the sampling site.

They are normally left in place for 4

to 6 weeks for optimum colonisation.

This product is normally supplied in kit form for self assembly.
