Our Wildlife Investigation Kits use the schools and professional equipment featured on this web site collected together into ready to use complete sets for different environments and skill levels.  They are offered at a reduced price but all individual components can also be purchased at the normal web site to replace equipment or design your own kit.

 

Nature of Britain Local Wildlife Investigation Kits

An ideal present - Each Kit contains:

  2. A complete set of equipment so they can catch and discover amazing wildlife in several habitats.
  3. Equipment to magnify and hold the catch so they can see detail.
  4. A colour waterproof guide to help them name and conserve the wildlife seen
  5. A carry bag for most of the equipment.
  6. A list of sites and guides on safety and conservation - aquatic guides only
The Wet Wildlife Investigation Kit -- for seashore, lake river and pond (£35,00 plus VAT)

Includes                                        

  1. An econet + sturdy water net bag on a 150mm wide frame and 800mm handle giving an overall length of 1 metre.  Replacement bags are always available for only 7.00 if they wear them out after years of use or the mice eat them.
  2. A white tray the same size as a piece of A4 paper.  this can be sterilised
  3. A bug box  collecting pot with grid bottom and magnifying lid.
  4. Two sample collecting pots
  5. One large watertight bottle    
  6. A hand lens
  7. A pipette for collecting and transferring animals
  8. A Rocky Shore and a Freshwater Name Trail to help identify the animals
  9. An art brush and a plastic spoon for lifting animals                                                 
  10. A carry bag for all the equipment except the net frame
