 Standard Hand Net Frame and Pole (Kick Net)

The Standard Hand Net Frame and Pole is for routine biological surveillance, research, field study groups, etc. These nets conform to Environment Agency specifications. They are frequently called Kick Sample Nets.

STANDARD FRAME FEATURES

  1.  The hand net frame is very sturdy, but light and easy to use.

  2. It has an Ash wooden handle , strong and for comfortable use in cold weather.

  3. The aluminium alloy outer frame is 250 mm wide.

  4. The net bag is attached by means of an inner brass frame to reduce wear.

  5. Total length of frame plus handle is 1.48 m. but can be shorter at no extra cost. 

 

OTHER FRAME SIZES THAT ARE THE SAME DESIGN.

There are smaller frames (200mm ) of a similar design .

Wider versions (300mm and 350mm wide) are also now available from stock..

 

HANDLES / POLES -STANDARD

A 1.2 meter long British ash pole is included but this can be cut shorter if required.  The only other use of ash of this high quality is snooker cues - you may recognise the grain

HANDLES / POLES - SPECIALS

For extended reach or depth aluminium handles with threads can be supplied for all our equipment

 

Due to the restrictions on delivery, we only export threaded frames unless large numbers are required.

 

 

CIRCULAR HAND NET FRAME:  These are no longer stock items but can be made to order.. They are expensive and use the same poles.
