Additional holes have been drilled in the top of the frame so it is
reversible and a safety line can be attached to a nearby secure point to avoid loosing
it downstream in a sudden storm discharge. |

An inner screen can be
supplied to prevent loss of invertebrates and act as a detritus filter.

Digital Stream Meter Adaptation
A drift net frame can be modified during
manufacture to take a digital stream meter for flow readings to calculate volume
of water passing through the net. .

Drift Net Bags

The bags are fitted with a nylon collar and are
made
from either 1 mm mesh knitted polyester netting or 250
lm
mesh nylon netting. |

The
net bags are 0.65 m long and tapered, with either a closed or an open end.

Open end net bags can be fitted with a
filter (see relevant
page), or collecting bottle. |
|
As an alternative they can be fitted with a
draw-string for your own sampling bottles.

Please specify when ordering, and give dimensions of sampling bottles to be used
when appropriate.
