THREADED HAND NET FRAMES AND HANDLE SECTIONS

Many biologists require hand nets which may be dismantled into sections

small enough to fit into a rucksack, overhead locker, or car, others may need longer handles

for use in deep rivers or lakes. G B Nets will supply frames with

threaded fittings to take additional handle sections.

 

Exports will only be supplied as threaded frames.  The saving in postage is more than the extra cost for threading and the British Post Office now refuses to export full size nets except by slow parcel mail (2 weeks).  More than 5 Standard Net frames can be sent full size economically by carrier.

Please specify lengths required for threaded frames and handle sections!

                                   Remember the length includes the net head

Lengths of 0.5m, 0.75m, 1.0m and 1.2m are normally available from stock.

Any standard water or large sweep net frame can be threaded.

The maximum  handle length for any section is 1.2m,; total with net head 1.48m
